I have thick long hair in layers to my waist. The handle of the brush is comfortable and strong. The weight of the brush is light and even. My old hairbrush took longer to comb out after showering and was a rough job compared to this hairbrush. This brush does not tighten the strands as much and combing takes less time. I love it. Definitely worth buying.
