I bought this jacket to wear when traveling through southern Arizona in the summer. When wearing it under sunny skies with temperatures below the 90's I find it very comfortable. It's fairly light and the mesh offers excellent ventilation to keep you cool while providing extra protection compared to the lightweight shirt I've been wearing before. Aside from the fact that the sleeves are too long (I had to turn the cuff around a fold), it fits very well. Note. I usually wear medium sized shirts and jackets but based on other reviewers I upped the size to large and I'm glad I did; This allows you to add another layer underneath if needed, but the size Large is still great for use over a t-shirt. Finally, this jacket looks very good in a discreet, functional style without the extra straps, fasteners, zippers or logos that other jackets seem to add to the shortcomings.
