Years ago, if you wanted to stream OTA TV to every room in your house, you had to unplug your antenna splitter and then run a coaxial cable to every room with your TV. This isn't necessarily a problem if you like running cables through a hot attic and are dealing with a degraded signal as it has been split into 5 channels. It's 2021 and thanks to this handy little box, you don't have to do that anymore. I ran 75 foot coax cable from my attic mounted directional antenna to a 2 way splitter. A short coaxial cable goes from the splitter to the TV in my living room, and then a short distance to my HDHomeRun. Once I booted the box and started scanning for channels and downloaded the app for my Rokus, it was up and running in no time. I can watch OTA TV on my living room TV and then simultaneously on 2 other TVs in the house without using a coax cable for 5 different TVs. In fact, the guide/channel interface through the HDHomeRun app is much more enjoyable to use than the OEM guide on my Samsung TV.
