I bought these for my daughter (10/2020). Last month one of these broke when she tried to turn it off and it started sparking. Fortunately, the switch worked quickly. I threw it in the trash thinking it must just be a rare chance of getting a faulty one. I should have known better. Today the second one fell apart when they pulled out the extension cord it was stuck to. The USB cable was connected to the LED lamp. So instead of tugging lightly on the cable to disconnect the USB connector or to pull the pins out of the extension cord, the pins stayed in the extension cord and the USB module fell apart. This left the metal connections open to power. My daughter instinctively grabbed it and thought she just had to put it back together. Luckily I was in the room and saw what happened and didn't let her touch it until I removed the power strip. I understand they were cheap and I shouldn't expect much, but these forks, at least the batch I received, are dangerous.
