Coffee stays hotter than any vacuum mug I've ever had. Although I haven't tested it, I bet the lid won't come off if the mug is dropped. I've noticed that the same mug is sold under different brand names and my guess is that all mugs are made in the same factory. in China. So choose the color you like and have fun. We bought them because they were the color we call Bahamian Green. The color matches the product photo perfectly. I liked them so much that I immediately ordered a second set.
