As you can tell from my title, there are a lot of parts to assemble (not to mention stick-on decals). The box itself is quite large even without its contents. collected. It's actually not that bad to assemble, but it needs to be done by an adult, and don't forget to get 3 "AAA" batteries (not included). Stickers are perhaps the most annoying thing, unless you like sticking them on. The idea of the cave itself is quite elegant. You get a fairly large (almost 3ft) Batman figure that opens up to become the Batcave itself. So you still have a cool piece even when the cave is closed. However, it takes up little space on the floor. It comes with a lot of cool stuff, but adding more characters would be great. I mean, this is a huge den with a huge price tag, so a few extra characters would probably deserve a 4.5 star rating, but it gets a 4 star rating instead. That's actually over 3.5 stars in my opinion, but since I can't give a ½ star, I'll round up.
