I bought a MiraScreen device to watch iPad videos on a TV that doesn't support Apple AirPlay. The installation process wasn't difficult, but it wasn't exactly easy either. You must download and use the EZMira app to complete setup, although the seller's instructions state that the app is optional. There are several ways to set up the device and I set it up so that the device uses my home WiFi to communicate. with my iPad, which is almost the only option when you want to watch internet videos. I also changed the device's default WiFi password because I didn't want anyone to be able to access my home WiFi through the device. I've tried using the device several times and sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. When it worked, the image quality was good. When this didn't work, the TV screen would be black and show a content buffering message, and the device would normally turn off. I think the problem is that my WiFi signal is not very strong where the TV is, so it might work better with stronger WiFi. it's happening When I tried to set it up again, I couldn't connect to the device's WiFi, which is required to set it up. It wouldn't accept the new password I chose, nor the original default password (I'm pretty sure I entered them correctly multiple times). So I decided to return it. When I bought the device, the seller emailed me to track my purchase. When I started having problems I answered their email, they were very responsive and helpful but ultimately couldn't solve the problem. Instead of a device like MiraScreen, I went with Apple Lighting to AV (HDMI). an adapter with a long HDMI cable that seems to work (briefly tested) and does not rely on WiFi.
