When I took them out of the box I was delighted as they were a nice length and fit my ankle comfortably. After washing they shrunk to baby size. Very disappointed as they are very nice in weight and texture - reason for 2 stars. I only wear an 8 1/2-9 and they barely cover my foot and definitely don't reach ankle height. I think they shrunk 2+ inches. I wish I could think about taking a before and after picture. So if you don't have very small feet or prefer not to cover your ankle, keep looking.
