Review on πŸŽ’ Gonex Daypack Lightweight Packable Backpack for Travel and Outdoor Activities by Craig Kimball

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very light backpack with features you will find on the expensive side.

I wrote a review criticizing the bag but my review never appeared on Revain. I'll rewrite this after use and have changed my mind as well. This ultra-light backpack is perfect for light hikes or pops it in your suitcase when you're traveling for last-minute storage. The bag has 4 zippered pockets - 3 external and 1 internal main compartment. The interior is perfect for storing car keys and wallet/cash when traveling. Provides additional protection. The zippers are of good quality and the pockets are spacious. There are 2 side water bottle pockets and straps across to keep bottles in place. The shoulder strap is comfortable and there are chest straps too, which is very unusual for a backpack this cheap. Shoulder straps are very useful on long hikes. There are 2 things I would love about a bag that would get 5 stars: 1. The bag is very comfortable but not super soft - I bought a similar backpack from Samsonite at Sydney Airport and the material is as soft as cloth – it's not that soft. The bag folds into the inner pocket - a little tight. It is very difficult to insert or pull out. Some reviewers said they couldn't get the bag out of their pocket. If only the manufacturer had made the inner pocket half an inch larger, this would have made a great backpack. I'm tired of struggling with the inside pocket that if I keep it at home I just roll the bag into the outside pocket - it looks ugly but I don't hurt my fingers trying to push it in. The manufacturer has taken care of every comfort. (except #2 above) - this is a great backpack and the orange one I bought is very good. I will buy a few more backpacks, one for each family member. It will be an indispensable item in my car/suitcase when I go out.
