I rarely write 5 star reviews

but it's well deserved. I've never seen a better, more stylish, and cooler looking desk in this price range (or even in the $200+ range). It's easy to assemble, very solid and well balanced (even with a large, heavy monitor attached to a desktop mount on the back edge), and I'm confident I'll have about $3,000 worth of electronics on it can place. The carbon fiber finish looks great and doesn't stain as easily as many other black finishes. The headset hanger is handy. The cup holder is the only thing that's plastic, so it feels a little cheap, but it's still strong enough to do the job (and can be rearranged on either side or removed entirely). The only thing I would personally wish for are round holes for cable ducts towards the back corners of the tabletop. It's nice to have them there as an option, but the fact that these plastic circles are raised (maybe 1/4 inch) off the table surface means that whatever you put there (my speakers in my case) doesn't go in will be able to have a flat surface to sit on. My solution was to completely remove the plastic pieces from the holes (which basically meant hammering them out), leaving only flat, open holes on the table. Not that big of a deal, but I just don't see these cable holes as being useful for a lot of people since the table isn't all that big, the holes are right where most people want to place the speakers, and the notch is sawn off in the middle of the back of the Edge There is more than enough space on the table to run cables underneath. I have recommended this table to about half a dozen of my friends and they love it too.

Pros
  • understandable even for old people
Cons
  • some little things
