Fit like they were tailored to me!
I am 5'7" 142 lbs., I would say average build. I originally ordered these in a 12 after reading reviews. They were really big and I am now in an 8, which is my regular size. So I will say this, while pulling the pants up over your booty, yes, they are a little tight, but that's what makes them fit so well once they are up. The waist is not bulky and bulging under my belt like most other pants do. They are comfortable, lightweight and wash well. I have already ordered them in other colors. Bottom line: they fit like they are supposed to. They are snug to get over your behind while putting them on but once they are up, they fit perfectly. Very happy with these pants.
