You need experience! And a job. You can't do that on the fence.

This part fixed my 1.5 year old gate operator. If you're not mechanically inclined it's plug and play, but you'll have to open the cylinder and go deeper than the initial setup requires. You need to keep track of all the wires (take a picture). In my case it started immediately and didn't need a reboot. If you need help installing your system, you need help replacing this part. Basics of electronics, but how many people these days know about basics of electronics? There is a step-by-step picture on the internet. but not much text and no board instructions. I would buy it again. We bet! Most simply replace the entire cylinder at 10x the cost. If you screw up, you can burn the motherboard, which is much more expensive. Soldering is not required but the polarity must be exactly as it was.

Pros
  • Portable AV
Cons
  • Out of fashion
