I used dark colored transfer paper for this stamp. Using a heat press some time ago and I'm almost always happy with the results. If you're using a heat press, first make sure it's set to 375 and 13-15 seconds (maximum). Be prepared for hard pressure. Also, I use a resolution of at least 350 for my images and they come out so colorful and crisp. Permission is important. Also, be aware that if you sell t-shirts, your customers may send you a poor-quality image. Take the time to clean up any images used, increase the resolution, increase the brightness, etc. Make sure the screen brightness is set to so you can see the image (in terms of color) accurately on the computer screen. I had no problem cutting out pictures on this paper. In addition, there are no problems with image detachment. I would definitely recommend the help of a second person when trying to place peeled images on a shirt while it's under the heat press. The images WILL curl under heat, making them unpressable. INSTEAD, purchase a Teflon pad/pillow and have a second person hold it directly under the heat press to block the heat while you lay the cleaned images down. ALSO you can put the cleaned images OUT of the heat press on the shirt, and you and your second person can carefully take the shirt to the heat press (while the parchment paper is already on the shirt). IF you heat press an image onto non-washed dark colored stock, there is a chance that that color will bleed through the image. I print a lot on tie-dye shirts and have found that I have to wash the shirts twice to avoid color bleeding. For bulk orders, make ONE shirt and wash it before ordering so you can see how it holds up. Finally, this product listing doesn't really talk specifically about using sublimation inks. It says to use normal ink. So if you used regular ink and are unhappy with the color quality, this is probably the reason. USE SUBLIMATION INK! Sublimation inks are compatible with inkjet printers, and their refueling/replenishment costs are about the same. You can easily find these inks online. Make sure the parchment paper is not creased, wrinkled, torn, etc. otherwise it will leave an imprint on your image. DO NOT use cutting paper. Bad idea, learn from me! After pressing, let the parchment sit for about 30 seconds before peeling it off. Do not move, fold, or wash the shirt until it is time to wear or pack it (but allow the shirt to cool for at least an hour before handling). I can't think of anything other than reading all the bad reviews on this product and most of them sounded like problems, which can be fixed with the tips here. My customers LOVE their shirts and sweatshirts. The only time I had problems was my printer was junk, which was an ink and paper misfeed problem, not carbon paper. NEVER PULL OUT A JAM! Instead, turn the printer off and on again, which pushes the jammed paper through.
