I upgraded my PS2 from Regular to Slim and decided to purchase the buy together product listed which was this memory card. I got it and went to one of my roleplays. Well I typed it in and wanted to save but the memory card wasn't recognized. Thought it might be a faulty new PS2, tried it on my old one and it wasn't recognized either. This is a defect and a waste of $7. Since shipping would be more expensive, I just threw it away. What waste. So disappointed that I now have to wait to go to the store to buy a working one.
