I bought these to use as a roll cage mount. Unfortunately, due to the actual inserts, neither combination will work on my 1 3/4" roll cage. The two smallest rubber supports don't allow for short screws. Basically, I'd have to use the included double-sided tape for them to work properly. I needed to be able to snap them on to push and move to make this not work.I ended up having to buy various mounts that allowed me to do this.I used them for a different purpose and ended up really using one of the rubber supports on one side and a double strap on the other .Their quality is good.They are cast aluminum and not very smooth.I ended up grinding them for another purpose and they didn't work well,something like a metal pot.They will last for years given their purpose which is why they have one Received a high rating. I'm just not happy that they fit in a 1 3/4" roll cage with no problem. I don't think the double stick tape on the outside of the car will last long. If you can't use rubber mounts, try getting longer screws before using tape if you're using it for a lightbar.
