This makes a great gift for babies and toddlers. They seem fascinated by music, light and dance. I gave it to my 9 month old but my 2.5 year old surprisingly loved it too and my 9 month old loves to happily dance to the music every time he hears it! On the downside, it won't work on carpet, but it will work on hardwood or a Lego table that has a crap on the edges to keep it from falling. It has withstood rough play and many falls well. He has 2 main songs that he plays when he gets to the top and they could have more songs but it's more of a parental preference as my kids don't complain!
