I bought this brand of brushes from Whole Foods about 6 months ago and they are very different from the ones bought here. First, instead of wooden handles, they are plastic with a lighter wood pattern, and the metal part is a different color as well. I also have the exact same fan brush but this new bristle is a lighter shade and they are packaged much less frequently so it hardly picks up any product and the other isn't much better. If this isn't a direct imitation then the quality has really gone down in the last 6-7 months! But I strongly doubt that!
