Review on Ultimate Nutritional Solution: Dr. Harvey's All Natural Daily Food for Budgies and Parakeets by Dana Lynn

I use Dr. Harvey's Parakeet Blend treat in a separate bowl for budgies/parrots. He just loves her, goes to her mainly in the afternoon, having already had breakfast with granules and even ordinary seeds. I think this mix helped him switch to fresh vegetables. Some pieces are too big for him - he takes a dried mango and tosses it on the floor of his cage - but other pieces he likes. I have no idea what part he eats besides his favorite thistle (which I think are the black seeds), but I know he keeps coming back to it. . I can't do without his Ecotrition seeds because he likes them too so I'm supplying both. He seems to consider "Ecotrish" as the main course and "Dr. Harvey" as dessert. The granules are reserved for the first meal of the day, their version of the cereal bowl. But if I had to, it could be his main seed as he likes it a lot. – Debbie Lee Wesselman.
