they definitely stretch if you spend hours in them. Buckle up first, then relax. However, these sonofaguns are so damn comfortable that I literally wear them everywhere. Rock out in the style of grandpa's shoes and enjoy. I've even considered hiking in them, which sounds silly but how comfortable they are, at least in my opinion. I'm glad I bought them. 10/10
