The display itself is excellent. The picture is bright and clear, and the case is well made and feels very solid. Not much to say about the stand - it works great. The problem is that I had the wrong power supply. There is a large sticker on the back of the monitor that says it requires 12v at 2 amps. The power adapter that came with the monitor was only rated for 1 amp. It was on my media server as a troubleshooting tool in case I couldn't access it remotely for some reason. Monitor was off but on 24/7. Yesterday I accidentally walked into the room and smelled burning electronics - both the power supply and the back of the monitor were very hot. Luckily the monitor seems to have recovered - I tested it with a correct power supply after it had cooled down and it was fine. The power supply went in the trash and I ordered a replacement with the correct specs for $12.
