This SMALL thing for lighting and studio

To reduce the amount of clutter in my network closet I bought this monitor with a small keyboard and trackball for KVM connected to the servers in the closet . . I didn't really know how small it would be. It's like an iPad mini with a stand. However, it's GREAT for what I need it for - the ability to physically connect to servers for initial setup and setup or just a quick check. When I need to parse logs or get into the weeds I go back to my desk and use my full size monitor and my RDPโ€ฆ

That's exactly what I need. Now I just hope it lasts for many more years

My newly upgraded CCTV DVR is easy to program and change to location with just a mouse and monitor DVR , which is in a secure storage cabinet. So I had to hook up a small monitor, put it on top of the dash cam and plug it in directly. My DVR has BNC, VGA and HDMI connections and since BNC is currently connected to my main monitor but I will be installing an HDMI monitor soon I took one of my old VGA cables and connected this cute little monitor to the VGA connector connected. The display is excellent but it came with the wrong power supply - almost caught fire

The display itself is excellent. The picture is bright and clear, and the case is well made and feels very solid. Not much to say about the stand - it works great. The problem is that I had the wrong power supply. There is a large sticker on the back of the monitor that says it requires 12v at 2 amps. The power adapter that came with the monitor was only rated for 1 amp. It was on my media server as a troubleshooting tool in case I couldn't access it remotely for some reason. Monitor was offโ€ฆ

Perfect little monitor for most headless servers

I bought one of these to use on the machine I use as a FreeBSD server. I only needed the monitor during install and a few times when my network was down, so I don't use it every day, but it was nice to have one during those times. Since I'm using it with a FreeBSD server, I don't know how good it is with graphics, but it's great for using in a terminal. Lettering is crisp and clear, and text colors are bright and easy to read. The monitor size is ideal for such a server. It doesn't take up much
