I bought this notebook to store long-term memory more reliably than what I have in my head. I easily get distracted and lose the action items in meetings, approved requests, appointments, shopping lists, etc. unless I'm jotting down somewhere and don't need a sturdy notebook to take with me as I go about my day. This one definitely fits the bill. I've kept it in my backpack/men's handbag for the past few weeks and it's holding up well despite the less gentle treatment of my luggage that usually happens. He usually shares space with a laptop and a few other books in a bag that's sometimes dropped, often thrown in the passenger seat of my car, and sometimes thrown off the road. So far, the laptop has endured this humiliation without any wear or damage. In addition to being resistant to damage, the laptop looks well made and is filled with nice thick paper. The outer material is similar to vinyl/faux leather which is comfortable to handle and holds up well. In addition to a pen loop along the spine, it features a bookmark ribbon and elastic closure. All of these features are firmly attached and useful. The book also has a divider sheet for those who want to mark different sections in the book. I won't be using them, but it's probably good to have for some people. If they continue to work as well as they have been I will definitely be buying another one when I fill this one up.
