Review on WAKA Official Kickball Adult 10 by Terry Paige

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The only kickball worth buying is IMO

Good is the only brand worth buying in our experience. Good quality rubber. We are very lucky with this brand. All other brands had inferior tires that broke within a few weeks. We have about 3 of these and so far none of them show signs of wear. Most people misuse this ball and inflate it MUCH more. 1.5 pounds is not enough. You should be able to crush it easily. When it says it's a P1000K, it's a 100% 10" ball, which most people inflate to 12"+. Then they wonder why they are torn. Of course, if he falls on a sharp stick, I'm sure he'll break. This has never happened to us, but these are not basketballs or soccer balls. The concept of a kickball makes it somewhat vulnerable. It's not about the brand, it's about the type of ball you use. It's a rubber ball. Deal with tires. Anything stronger and you won't have the ball. TIPS: 1) P1000K should be about 10 inches long when properly inflated. If you don't have a highly sensitive sensor, grab a tape measure and evaluate it. 2) They must not be exposed to direct sunlight for a long time. That means don't leave them in the sun when not in use. I doubt that rubber is UV resistant. 3) Blow them off in winter when not in use. Rubber deforms when cold because it tries to compress but cannot because of the pressure. 4) Try to avoid sharp objects in the field (it goes without saying, but maybe don't read the reviews). We use them every week in our complex and they are great. So much fun. Don't forget to warm up a bit :) Life is good!
