Review on 🐾 Iprimio Cat Litter Scooper: Deep Shovel Non-Stick Aluminum Scoop with Patented Sifter - Cat Owners' Designed, Super Solid Handle - Black by Robin Nelson

Great concept but still waiting to be invented

EDIT/UPDATE: In early October 2017 the plastic outer handle completely detached from the metal inner core. A piece of tape is holding it in place today (March 2018). First review: I have been using this strainer daily for several months. I was impressed with how well it worked for the first few shoveling sessions, but then problems (and debris) started to pile up. I'll list these problems in order of occurrence over time: The "ridges" or bars at the bottom of the screen form ridges and valleys where they meet the leading edge of the blade, and that's where dirt begins to accumulate. From a design point of view, this could be remedied if the stripes on the back blend seamlessly. It wasn't that important at first and just meant a little cleaning with a tissue. The non-stick coating started to wear off after a few dozen uses. That's the biggest problem so far. Without the non-stick aspect, it's basically the same as any other metal spoon. Similarly, even a centuries-old ordinary iron skillet is non-stick as long as it has a coating of oil/oil/fat on its surface. lower. when that's gone, everything hangs. Unfortunately, the real solution to this problem lies in how the material of the blade itself is made. Inventors, take care of it. I would be willing to pay a high price for a scoop, and preferably a pan that is totally resistant to clogging with used bedding components. Whatever the case, the scoop will need frequent cleaning for the time being to keep the litter moving. smoothly through the cracks. I started using cheap paper cotton swabs to clean the accumulated dirt and dust from the slots. I find the screen slots to be too narrow, especially when the non-stick coating wears off and dust builds up. hold tight. The slots can be a bit wider; But maybe a possible solution would be if the slots get bigger towards the back and get a bit narrower towards the front (or vice versa). This can make the shovel more versatile overall. Eventually, the plastic component of the handle began to separate from the metal core. Still not a big problem, but makes the shovel wobbly. EDIT/ADD: In early October 2017, the plastic outer handle completely separated from the metal inner core. A piece of tape is holding it in place today (March 2018). I didn't use the wall mount so I can't comment on that. Thank you for reading.
