Really a waste of money. Cheap and mediocre made. If it's meant to get a person brewing, I don't think they'll be satisfied enough to stick with it. The fermenter is leaking and has no sluice. The ingredients were ok and really very easy to use and the taste (before bottling) was ok but nothing to worry about. They prioritize form over function in this one. Instead, I'd recommend a $5 bucket from Lowes and a $2 airlock. Update: The finished beer is pretty good, despite my negative opinion of the decor. I transferred it to a secondary fermenter a few days before bottling. It had a bit of an isoamyl acetate flavor initially, but it faded fairly quickly after bottling.
