Blueair air purifiers have some of the best ratings on the market. I didn't want to write a review until I'd used the device at least a few times for a month. Forgot time and finally checked the filter after a year. WOW! Completely grey/almost black if you look at the photo. I removed the lid that comes with the kit (two included dark gray and turquoise). I like that you can wash them in the machine. I just ordered a replacement filter for $19. Overall, this is a very compact and quiet device. There are three speed settings that you can click on above. The machine is easy to use and looks great in any room. I have an American Eskimo Dog at home who sheds a lot! The bedspread collects a lot of his fur. I have had no problems with this car for over a year and am seriously considering buying another one! I have used it in 750-830 sqm. ft. I move it every now and then, but getting a bigger unit is a good idea too.
