I love the product itself. We are very disappointed with the size. After checking the sizes and checking the reviews we ordered the small for my skinny 8 year old with a muscular build. I thought it was tight when he first tried it on after washing it (didn't tumble dry) but he liked it so much he had no intention of taking it off. After putting it on for a sparring class in the morning, he said he had a stomach ache. When we got home we found that his pain was under the ligament cutting into him. Maybe we have a defect? Maybe you shouldn't rely on this rating when choosing a size? We're upset that we spent $12 on something we can't get back. We'd love to trade it in for a shipping company, but we really don't want to spend another $12.
