I have diaper rash under my breasts and under my buttocks (in babies they can be under skin folds). You can get those horrible itchy, red, sore, oozing rashes when your skin is moist, especially when skin temperature rises and there is friction against the skin (e.g., from movement). If you or your child suffer from this skin condition, you should avoid powders containing cornstarch, as the starch feeds the yeast that causes the rash. My doctor advised me to use Zeasorb Antifungal Healing Powder, but since the powder contains talc, I didn't feel comfortable applying it near my private parts. This powder offers me a great solution as it contains no talc or cornstarch powder. It effectively holds in moisture for a decent amount of time. The container is a lot smaller than I expected but as I only use it on one spot and not all over I find it cost effective for me. This can be an expensive purchase for a child as you will be using it more often between switches.
