When the M1 MacBook Pro goes to sleep, any USB or SD device plugged into the docking station "ejects correctly". The only ways I've found to get them reconnected are to restart the MacBook or to unplug and replace the device. Belkin Support has confirmed this to be a known issue. They also stated that they have no idea when they will have a fix or if a dock replacement is needed.
