Review on Oneida Chateau Stainless Steel Salad Flatware by Larry Sabey

These forks look very nice, well made and shiny, but they are too small. These aren't salad forks, they're dessert forks - only 6.1 inches long. They are too small even for a small hand; more like children's cutlery. A tip is added to their length, which doesn't matter; it's the tribe that counts. I would omit them when eating desserts, but I need them for salads. They should be at least 6.75 - 7.25 inches long. It's amazing what a difference an inch can make. And it's not just their length: They're proportionally smaller, just 1 inch wide instead of the 1.25 I used to have with shorter teeth. Very decorative, unfortunately I am sending it back. They can be used for small children. I am attaching some photos.
