Review on πŸ“± Renewed Apple iPad 9.7 inch 6th Gen WiFi + Cellular, 128GB Space Gray by Wiktor Wnkowicz ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Think twice before buying this product.

The perceived benefits of this technology are seen as optional extras that don't significantly improve productivity. The iPad is either completely incapable of, or just partially capable of, meeting my needs. But with a Huawei tablet, which is three times less expensive, everything runs well and reliably. Faulty, anti-user technology. Absolutely not something I would suggest. This tablet is already good, and the iOS learning curve will be the same on the upcoming sophisticated models of the iPad Air and iPad Pro. If you have an Apple Pencil, it could be a useful tool for creating art. For a music educator, however, it was essentially worthless garbage.

Pros
  • Display capable of displaying sharp images with accurate color. Screen has a decent anti-glare coating; it's not as bad as on the Samsung, but it's not as good as on the Pro versions, either. Workflow optimization and consistency are also real features of this device.
Cons
  • Even though I purchased the Cellular edition, the tablet does not have SMS or phone capabilities. In addition, I need SMS, but the shop failed to forewarn me. The so-called "convenience" of iOS for the workplace is also surprising. iTunes, which is required to upload media from a computer, did not work for me on any machine; I had to use a disk to upload stuff, and the data had to be uploaded there explicitly, one item at a time, folders did not work. On the other hand, application folders are either made or not made, and it's usually not able to tell what programs save on disk. Since I couldn't use the default player, I downloaded some others, only to discover that the iPad ruins the sound quality by equalizing the volume when using them (even when the appropriate box in the settings is unchecked). Some songs, but not often or necessarily, have clicks every second. When you tap on a notice, the app that has to be opened will launch; on Android, this will be directly to the location where the notification was generated; on iOS, the app will launch on the home screen, and you will need to navigate there manually. YouTube videos accessed via browser links do not automatically play in full screen mode. To sum up, the software part is of subpar quality and plagued by persistent bugs.
