Review on 🧦 Men's & Women's Ankle Compression Running Socks - Low Cut Athletic Socks (2 Pairs) by Dwayne Quarles

I've been wearing these compression stockings for a little over a month. I really like them and they help with leg swelling when exercising in very hot weather. If I had written this review 2 weeks ago it would have been a 5 star rave review. They are a bit big. I wear a women's size 9 and have a slightly wider foot, so I ordered a size up based on the size chart and other reviews, but the photo shows the heel is closer to my ankle. Didn't break the deal and wanted to order another smaller set to try. However, when I put them on today, I noticed that the toes were fraying and, on closer inspection, there were holes in the heels and soles. I wear them for about 90 minutes on my morning run, alternating with other socks. That shouldn't have happened in such a short time. I am following the care instructions which call for hand washing (yes, HAND WASH SOCKS!) and air drying and they are still starting to fall apart. If they could solve the durability problem, they would be perfect (well, those are some nicer colors too!). They're comfortable, breathable, offer good compression, and don't rub or bother my shoes. I will try other brands to see if they wear better. Obviously thinner socks don't last forever and that will be a compromise, but I hope they last a few months.
