Grill does not burn at any wind speed. Cast iron grates are very heavy and difficult to clean in the wild. The block could be a lot more compact if the lid merged into the base, but that's not the case. I was able to place a thermometer in one of the vents and use it to successfully bake the potatoes (1 hour at around 400). It cooks well - the iron grid distributes the heat evenly. Installation is easy and quick, but the grate and base will get greasy and you'll have to wait for them to cool before you can clean them. The main disadvantage is that you have to keep an eye on it or the flame will go out.
