Review on SUNLAND Professional Tailor Scissors Sewing by Lori Aguirre

It takes time to adjust to the weight

My first pair of scissors, which I bought for sewing and obliging, I bought at a quilting store. They were slightly more expensive than these. They have been designed to fit the hand of those with arthritis hand pain. I didn't have any problems with it myself. At least with osteoarthritis. These scissors, although heavy, seem to me to be comfortable enough to use. They are also very easy to disassemble for sharpening. Just do yourself a favor and buy a wrench instead of pliers. You need them to set the degree of tightening of the screw. They are heavy and last a long time. They came with some oil in the screw area. You must remove excess material before use and after sharpening. I didn't find it necessary to sharpen them when they arrived and I cut heavy fabrics like denim for most of my projects. They also arrived much earlier than I expected. At the time of writing this article, my state is still in lockdown due to the cov(19) virus. I'm very impressed with Revain and the postmen. My only complaint about these scissors is that they are not comfortable enough to use for long periods of time. However, you will not find practical scissors for sewing fabrics. My previous ones, although intended for arthritis sufferers; could never cut thick fabrics like these scissors. So since they're a bit more uncomfortable than my others, I think that's a reasonable compromise. I just have to get used to them. All these scissors are of excellent quality considering the price. It looks like they were designed for cutting suit fabric and cutting clothing patterns. Not for quilting as they are so big and heavy.

Pros
  • Cutting tools
Cons
  • Long delivery time

I love the heavy feel of these scissors. This length is great or cutting patterns.
