We have had a few small chips (ranging in size from a few mm to 1cm in length) that have spread over the years formed the edges of our granite worktops in the kitchen and at the bar. I finally bit the bullet and bought this set. Using this kit was amazingly easy and the results were fantastic, achievable in just an hour of effort. If you're planning on attaching a chip to the vertical side of your counter (e.g. along the edge) I also recommend having blue masking tape on hand. I used masking tape around the edges of the repair to act as a 'dam' to prevent the product from running over the edge of the counter while I completed the curing process by illuminating it with blue light. Second, I would recommend that you also make sure you have a small hand clip (or clothespin) to hold the blue light over the repair area (rather than physically holding the light in your hand). Overall, this repair product is very easy to use and I am more than satisfied with the results. The repairs I've made with this product are 99% invisible and the cost can't be beat.
