Review on ๐Ÿช‘ Optimized for SEO: KBEST High Back Office Chair by Todd Phillips

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly - Update!

Pros: The chair is very easy to assemble and takes about 20-25 minutes at a relatively slow speed. It's very comfortable with lots of padding all around. Robust, no play and no play. The back is of a good height so you can rest your head. The lumbar adjustment is a nice feature. The armrest folds down so you can slide the chair under the table. The armrest is very well padded. The chair's specs list a 250-pound limit, but it appears to make noise for a 230-pound person sitting in it. The bad: The chair tends to make a squeaky noise when reclined . This noise is coming from where the "C" lever attaches to the seat. Appears when tilted back, creates a pulling action when tilted, resulting in a squeak. It's always annoying to hear that noise and using WD40 doesn't help. The armrest can be lowered about 1-2 inches when folded. When folded the height is a little too much, when using it you often find yourself in a "shrug" position even for a person over 6ft tall. I use this chair daily as an office chair, 8 to 9 hours a day. The point where the C-arm attaches to the seat penetrates through and causes the skin to tear at that pivot point. This has happened on both sides, with one side being more visible and allowing you to feel the metal. The wear and tear seems to come from sitting in the chair and leaning back. The coating on the "C" lever on one side is starting to peel off (see photos). I suspect this will continue to flake off, and there's a good chance the other party will do the same. Upgrade - downgrade by 1 star. Contacted the seller to solve the problem. The seller did not respond, which may indicate a lack of customer service and/or product quality. The gap on the right side is getting bigger and bigger and I suspect this stool will only last a few months. Wise advice: Don't just look elsewhere for the office chair, look for the company/vendor as well.

Pros
  • PREVENTING BACK PAIN WHILE WORKING
Cons
  • Large and bulky
