I was surprised by the comfort these sandals offer and loved the extra socks in the front. I've used them on the beach and in everyday situations. I'd say they're good for light adventures but maybe not strong enough for serious hiking. They are light and fit well, although I should have ordered at least half a size smaller because the straps are velcro and I have to pull the strap almost all the way to get my feet secure. Watch your step too - I accidentally stepped on a board with a nail head sticking out and it went right through the floor and tickled the bottom of my foot.
