Review on Efficient Schwinn Bike Pumps: Foot and π² Hand Operated, with Presta and Schrader Valve Options by Joseph Morris
This is frustrating at first, but works great once you get the hang of the valve cartridge.
Okay I'm fighting between 4 and 5 stars for this pump. This got me very frustrated when it first arrived because I couldn't get the valve cartridge to stay on the pipe valve on both the Presta and Shrader. It wasn't until I cursed many, many, many times that I realized that the "detent lever" of a valve cartridge is the OPPOSITE of all other types of air cartridges I have used. JE! The picture I've attached shows the valve cartridge in the closed position. I noticed the pump didn't come with any instructions, and if it did, it must have been lost somewhere. But once you figure out the valve cartridge, the pump works great. I can inflate my road bike tires to 100psi with no problem.
