very crisp, pleasing colors, but there is too much ghosting and color smearing in games and even when scrolling through websites. Whether it's 60Hz or 144Hz, color smearing is always present, regardless of the monitor's response time settings. At 60Hz, whether set to Fast or Fastest, reverse ghosting occurs, and normal results introduce so much blur that you'll think motion blur is on. At 144Hz, blacks are so smeared it looks like there's grease on the screen or something (lots of motion blur too). I will be back, but I bought an Asus VG249Q and immediately noticed an improvement in overall picture/game quality. I will avoid VA panels like everyone always says and stick with IPS. Save yourself some time and just spend the extra $100 on a better monitor. It's not too bad for the curve either, it took me about 2 or 3 days to get used to it, but I've noticed that on white backgrounds or websites you can see some sort of shadow in the middle where it curves. It should also be noted that it has a power adapter, which isn't a big deal, just something else to consider.
