The small flange at the top of the metal base of these bulbs prevents them from being fully inserted into the front turn signal/navigation light sockets on my 2008 Harely Ultra Glide. After removing a small amount of material from the very small metal flange of the bulb and still not having enough extra "reach" I was able to sand down some of the Harley factory light's plastic bezel to allow the bulbs to fully seat. The physical difference in size between these LEDs and factory halogens is very difficult to see, but I got them working which turned out to be easier than returning them. after the modifications. Beware. Oh, they're not really brighter than standard halogen bulbs, but they look "cool".
