Review on 🐱 Iams Chicken Flavored Dry Cat Food for Healthy Senior Cats - Proactive Health by Ramon Parra

My cat will be 16 in May and stopped eating her dry food a few months ago. I had two different kinds and he had been eating them for years so I figured he stopped eating them because he was old and maybe he had a toothache. He was still eating the turkey baby food, soft foods, and treats I gave him, so I knew the problem was with the pellets, not his appetite, and I figured that given his age he would inevitably stop, eat the pellets. However, I wanted to be sure, so I set out to find the best food for senior cats. I decided on this based on other reviews. I've never fed my animals apples (I've always bought them very expensive "better" food to be honest) and I figured it would be a "softer" dry food that was less harmful to his teeth would. When it arrived I was disappointed that it wasn't softer than the other pieces, but I tried it anyway. He immediately started eating and devoured it. Wow! I was so shocked and encouraged. I was just as frustrated when he vomited and later in the day he had loose stools - I've changed his food in the past but I've never had to slow the transition to a new food, he's always just got used to it. But I could tell he liked the food, and I knew he hadn't eaten cereal in months, and judging by the amount he'd eaten for the first time in this tiny eight-pounder's life, I figured he'd shut up ate a lot and got sick. . So I took the crumb for two days, suggested other products, and then SLOWLY reintroduced it over the course of a few days. Now he eats like a champ. He seems much happier and is regaining the weight he lost from not eating. He has stopped eating soft foods and begs for treats all day because he prefers his own morsels. I'm so happy!
