This ring is really beautiful. Unless you are knowledgeable about diamonds or work in the jewelry industry, the vast majority of people will think that this is a real diamond. I ordered size 5 and it fits perfectly. The diamond is set in a high setting that hugs EVERYTHING so keep that in mind. I currently have a 1/2 carat diamond solitaire set in a double diamond ring. I love it but wanted two things.1. To see if I want to look like a full carat (I don't, it just looks fake on my pinky fingers). and 2. have a fake ring when we travel. just in case. Considering how high the setting is, I don't think I'll be wearing that much. It tangled in my sweater, tangled in my hair, tangled in my bedspread while I was sitting on the couch; it's just a lot higher than what I'm used to. However, if mounting height is not an issue for you then I would highly recommend this as an alternative to a real diamond. It's super shiny and crisp and very believable. And for $39.90 (at the time of this review), you can't ask for much more.
