Review on Drysuit Scuba Diving Classic ๐Ÿคฟ Weight Belt Harness for DUI Dry Suit by Victor Houser

Revainrating 4 out of 5

DUI Quality Scuba Gear

The weight belt is well designed and well made. I was able to dive in it in a dry suit and integrate my BC a few times before diving to the wrecks in North Carolina. I was able to experiment with weight distribution in the harness and BC to get it properly balanced for diving and on the surface. seat belt when you pull the release handles. The handles remain connected to the pockets, allowing you to transfer weight when removing weight in a non-emergency. For example, I've been on some of the smaller "6 pack" dive boats that actually take your BC with them as they don't have a ladder to get on the boat. The diver must remove these weights before removing the BC. Replacing the weight pouches after pulling the release handles is a simple process that doesn't take too long. It's easy to do in just a few minutes. Be sure to instruct your buddy on how to use the harness and deployment handles. If you unbuckle your seat belts, your weights will NOT fall in an emergency like a traditional weight belt will. This brings me to why 4/5 is not 5/5. Release handles must be visible in an emergency. They are black, the same color as most scuba gear. I'll probably put some yellow waterproof tape on the handles.
