So I installed this on a table that pushes against the wall, so it needs to be installed on the inside of the table, not the outside. If this is the case for you, keep an eye on your hips as the brace/mount itself is quite large and does not allow you to remove the screw attachment once it is tightened. I ended up putting it on a (fixed) shelf on the wall next to my desk. I will say it might be a little long but not too short to be useful. That aside, I'd say the pop filter is so ridiculously stiff you really can't position it in a useful way, plus a mount that gets in the way of the mic mount. If you're buying this for a filter, don't.
