Very bright, very easy to install and good value

I bought this kit to mount on my kitchen ceiling. Cutting 6" holes, adding a junction box, and running wires to all the lights I've installed is pretty hard work. However, once completed, installing these lights takes around 10 minutes per lamp, which is the time it takes to insert the wire into the junction box and make the connection for two wires. The light is very bright, I installed 4 in the kitchen and added a bar. One of the 4 died after installation, I had to remove it and put another one in. Now they all work 4. Turn off the circuit breaker), remove the faulty one.Insert the wire into the junction box of the new one, connect all 3 wires, clip all the wires into the metal box and close the lid. Then reinsert the flashlight. If this indicator is in the middle of the circuit, then two wires must be taken from the defective light and plugged into the new one. Allow 20 to 30 minutes for this exchange. They are very bright so I added a dimmer to control their brightness. I have moved to install 4 in the garage. while it works fine. Now 1 remains in reserve. I used the defective one to plug a large hole in my porch ceiling, it looks fine and is obviously unplugged (there is no electrical cord). I bought a second set to install in other places in my house and another garage. At the moment everything works fine after 8 months, except for a defect at the very beginning. I have since found that this set has the lowest cost of any set I have found. I also bought a set of 12 4 inch recessed leds for my 3 bathrooms, it's $100 for 12, well over $60 for 10 of them. Conclusion: These recessed LEDs are well made, with their own metal box J They don't need a huge metal box, making the installation electrically very easy. Also note that for any light source that does not have its own terminal block, a separate terminal block must first be installed to meet NEC requirements. Downgraded to 4 stars after installing about 15 of these: This product has a weak point, which is its junction box. The can is made of very thin galvanized steel, bends easily and is quite small to accommodate 2 sets of NM cables (all US junction boxes are very thick and don't bend that easily). The sides of the lids in these junction boxes must be pressed down to prevent the lid from opening under the pressure of the wires in the box. So sad that a great product like this cuts a corner on its J-Box.
