Unpacking: The product is packed in 3 layers of shrink film. The booklet includes care instructions (it is recommended to read the label on the pillow) and how to order an extra pillowcase. The pillow "inflates" quite quickly once the last layer of plastic is cut off. It's already zipped into a pillowcase for when you need to take it off and zips up for sleep. The product feels very full but soft out of the box. NO SMELL. I bought this to hopefully help with back, hip and neck pain. I am not pregnant. Haven't used it to sleep yet as I want to make sure it's fully inflated so I'll wait 24 hours but will update this review once I do. Update: This can be very effective, but you have to keep hitting it as it flattens out in places. If you're the kind of person who needs a pillow, you can put the pillow under your head instead of over it.
