Review on Wi-Fi Enabled Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark II Digital Camera by Xavier Xavier ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

My impression of the purchase is good, buy it.

previous cameras: Zenith, then film, and then digital top-end Pentax, i. E. it is my first compact. So, THIS IS NOT A MIRROR, I told myself for the first 2 months, cursing. already used to it. paradoxically, but on DSLRs I used the purely manual mode noticeably less, but here I constantly have to think, especially for autofocus. with such small dimensions and the lack of wheels is not easy. I bought a viewfinder ($300 !), it turns out that I could get by - attaching and removing it back and forth is a hassle. maybe only in very bright sun it will be useful . Conclusion: see the merits ;-)

Pros
  • ratio quality - dimensions - price. shooting without a flash almost everywhere - ISO up to 4000 is more than working. ergonomics are sane.
Cons
  • pleasing, it used to be, super-sharpness of images was not found. autofocus is not perfect. the battery is dwarf, the additional ones are insanely expensive, and the Chinese somehow (yet?) Didn’t fuss. flimsy (even compared to Mark l).
