***UPDATE: The situation is getting worse. I will never buy a Garmin product again. The heart rate monitor is so inaccurate that I don't even look at it. After a big set, when I'm out of breath, he'll hit 80-100 bpm. Battery life degrades every week. support is not helpful. I REALLY wanted to like this watch. Especially for the money I spent. I foolishly thought if I bought a watch at a reasonable price then it would be the best product. no I start with what I really hate about it and work my way back to what's a bit annoying. First, it's automatic face lighting. This idiotic trait wakes me and my fiancee at least once a night/morning. It literally lights up the room. Roll? A little cuddle at midnight? Boom, spotlight on her face now she's crazy Awesome feature on a device that claims to track my sleep but can't pause the feature while I'm sleeping. The second problem is the position of the buttons. Try right, try left. Regardless of orientation, if you bend your wrist, you accidentally hit the side button and it vibrates and scrolls through screens with reckless force. Third, I feel like many of the screens are irrelevant to me and I should be able to remove them, or at least rearrange them. new I have to scroll through 8 different things to check my heart rate. and it disappears after a few seconds so you can repeat it every time. Brilliant. Fourth, after a few hours, the watch strap starts to itch. Tried antibacterial soap, talc, nothing helps. It also stinks after a day or two. Finally, if you don't move for a while, it will beep and vibrate to tell you to move. With you, look. With you. We recently opened a coffee shop and ice cream parlor that is open over 15 hours a day. So if we can take a nap, we do. This isn't for fun, it's purely for survival. Thanks for waking me up, mister. damn hours! I HAVE to move, great memory! Here's a slap in the balls. I've been trying to make this thing work for me, like I said I REALLY want to like it. So after a few weeks I decided the relationship was over. I contacted Revain about a return and they said no bones needed. We (Revane and I) called Garmin. They said I could return it but it would take several months to ship back. So I said forget it. I will live with this itchy, annoying post until it dies.
