I tripped and blew a fuse (a 7.5 amp mini fuse under the hood labeled Dome) because I didn't do it when I installed it. Also, DO NOT use pliers to remove glass bulbs. I tried to be gentle with the loading lights, which appeared to be almost glued on, but I broke one. I had to pick out the glass but after that the LED worked fine. I've heard that the small zip or rope and pull method works better. Overall I'm not sure I would choose this brand over the rugged PCB versions if I did it again but whatever it is it works.
