Review on 🛢️ Attwood 8806LPG2S Portable Fuel Container by Emmanuel Chouinard

Attwood usually does good things, but this tank inflates like a balloon in no time and stays that way. I think I can deal with a permanently deformed fuel tank, but now the fuel gauge is useless as it doesn't show the fuel level properly with the deformed tank shape. Judging by the description I thought there would be ventilation through the lid but there isn't. I called Attwood and thought the cap might be defective, but Dave told me it was supposed to be and the tank wasn't designed to be vented at all - in accordance with EPA regulations. The lid can suck in air, but nothing comes out. Therefore, even at moderate temperatures, fuel vapors expand and permanently deform the tank. You should just make them round at first.
